Automatic translation of Youtube dialogue

I have recently started watching Terrace House on Netflix, which is a new joint coproduction with a Japanese TV channel of an existing program.  American viewers are treated to clear subtitles on the new version.  It turns out there are about 8 years of prior seasons of this show which have no closed captions.   The old seasons aren’t on Netflix but many clips from prior Japanese-only seasons are available on Youtube.  I was watching one such clip when I found myself greatly desiring a good English translation.  It turns out there are tools now for translating closed caption text into different languages, but no available tool for Youtube to do the same for spoken word.  Microsoft makes a translator available for Skype.  Google: listen up, you’re behind the times on this one!
